How can we help?

AP4 Group Services Recommends the Following Reliability Assessments:

Clean and Inspect Turbine Control Panel and HMI Computers
Remove dirt and dust that accumulates and can cause paths of current to ground which can lead to premature failure of circuit cards, hard drives and cause erroneous and nuisance diagnostic alarms.

Ensure all screw terminals, ribbon cables and wire connectors are tight and not corroded. Coat required connections with Nygel Electric Grease to prevent Corrosion and ensure a good path for signal passing is established.

I&C Calibrations
Efficient Gas Turbine operations require specific and accurate data from the field devices. If the data received at the control system is not accurate, the system cannot properly calculate Firing Temperature, Fuel Scheduling, or MW demand. A 1% error in Compressor Discharge Calculation is equivalent to a 1% loss in Turbine Output. Calibrations are cheap insurance to ensure your Generator is producing all the power it is capable of.

Critical Component Calibration and Inspection
Gas Valves, Inlet Guide Vane, Inlet Bleed Heat, Purge Valves, Liquid Fuel System Components, Atomizing Air System, Hydraulic, Hydrogen, and Seal System are among the systems that must be in completely precise working order to ensure the reliability of your Turbine Generator Set.

Servo Replacement Program
Servos are the Heart of your Critical Valves and require maintenance and rebuilding more often than most think. Often Servos are not thought of until they fail in service causing missed starts and forced outages. AP4 Group Services recommends that each site buys a spare set of servos, exchanges them once a year, and has them sent off for inspection and rebuild. This is another very cheap insurance policy to prevent forced outages and missed starts.

LCI Services

In today’s changing power market, the reliability of starting your Gas Turbine is now more important than ever. The GE Direct-O-Matic, Innovation, and LS2100 series of Turbine Static Start system is one of the most critical systems in the plant. Keeping these systems maintained requires significant training and experience. AP4 Group Services has the most experienced Engineers outside of the OEM.

Every Summer and Winter AP4 Group Services answers multiple Forced Outage Calls to repair issues that very well could have been caught during simple annual maintenance. It is our mission to help our customers keep these systems 100% reliable.

Industry
Benefits

Reliability

Using the latest technology, components, and lessons learned through decades of experience, AP4 Energy Services can ensure complete reliability for both start-up and continuous operation.

Efficiency

This is the key to success in today’s competitive power markets. Heat Rate, Capacity, Start-Up, and Maintenance Costs are critical to the success of aging power plants.

Affordability

Spending good money where it makes the most difference! We understand that O&M budgets are shrinking, so we work with the plants to understand where and when to repair, replace, or upgrade for maximum return.

Longevity

Aging systems can continue to provide reliable service for many years to come with the proper service, maintenance, and repairs. Push your upgrades out 5-10 years with confidence.
